About Amira
I’ve had the privilege of guiding and mentoring students as they begin their journey into the world of therapeutic practice. Teaching has become one of the most rewarding parts of my career -it allows me to share my experience, nurture emerging therapists, and watch their confidence grow.
My massage therapy journey began in 2006 when I completed a Certificate IV in Massage Therapy at Endeavour College (formerly the Australian College of Natural Therapies). From there, I went on to complete my Diploma of Remedial Massage at RMIT in 2007, followed by an Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy in 2009. I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Adult and Vocational Education to deepen my understanding of how adults learn.
Over the years, I’ve developed a client-centred approach to treatment -focused on addressing the cause of discomfort, not just the symptoms. Whether you’re seeking relief from chronic pain, support during pregnancy, or time to simply unwind, I tailor each session to your needs using techniques such as Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Cupping, and Muscle Energy Technique.
I have a particular interest in posture-related pain, headaches, hip and lower back discomfort, and chronic musculoskeletal issues. Pregnancy massage remains one of the most meaningful aspects of my work - supporting women through such a significant stage of life is an honour.
Alongside my clinical work, I teach as a Trainer and Assessor for the Diploma of Remedial Massage.
Outside of my practice, I’m a proud mum to two teenage daughters. Music is also a big part of my life - I love playing and creating music with my partner. It’s how I stay grounded, creative, and connected.
If you’re looking for thoughtful, results-driven care delivered with genuine compassion, I’d love to support you on your wellbeing journey.
