Frequently Asked Questions

Do you bring the massage table and towels?

Yes, I bring everything with me-a sturdy massage table, fresh towels, and massage oil. I just need a small space to set up-your living room works perfectly, or anywhere you feel comfortable. I’ll also need access to a sink to wash my hands before and after your massage. I’m totally happy to use the kitchen sink-please don’t worry about the dirty dishes! And if you can grab two of your own pillows, that’s ideal-it’s always nicer using your own. I’ll bring some calming music too, unless you have something you’d prefer. It’s your space, your time.

What do I wear during the massage?

Most ladies like to wear just their underwear, or often take their bra off too-it just tends to get in the way. You’ll always be properly covered with fresh towels, and your comfort comes first. A lot of clients pop on a robe before I arrive so they feel relaxed and ready when I set up. But honestly, wear whatever makes you feel good. I’ll work around you.

Do you only do pregnancy massage?

Not at all! I specialise in pregnancy massage, but I also offer relaxation and remedial massage. Whether you're an expecting mum, feeling run down, or dealing with specific tension and pain-I can tailor the session just for you. Every treatment is gentle and supportive.

Do you only offer mobile massage?

Yes, I only offer mobile massage treatments. I travel to:

  • Pakenham

  • Officer

  • Beaconsfield

  • Berwick

  • Narre Warren

When and how do I pay?

You are more than welcome to pay directly after your treatment. You can pay by bank transfer, cash, or PayID-whatever is easiest for you.

Can I claim through my health insurer?

IF your private health insurance covers MOBILE myotherapy or remedial massage, then yes. However, most insurance companies DO NOT cover mobile massage treatments. It is your responsibility to check with your insurer before booking in.

I will provide you with a detailed receipt after your appointment. I do not use HICAPS, so you’ll need to submit the receipt manually.

Please contact your health fund directly if you have any questions about your coverage or how to make a claim.

Can you treat my pain?

I’m a qualified Myotherapist with over 18 years of hands-on experience, specialising in the assessment and treatment of a wide range of musculoskeletal pain conditions.

My treatments are evidence-informed and tailored to each person’s needs, supporting relief from issues such as:
• Headaches and migraines
• Neck and shoulder tension
• Lower back and hip discomfort
• Piriformis syndrome / deep gluteal pain
• Postural tension and pregnancy-related aches

Pregnancy can bring unique changes to posture, mobility, and comfort — my approach focuses on helping women manage these changes safely and effectively within the scope of massage and myotherapy practice.

While my treatments can assist with muscular and postural pain, they’re not a replacement for medical or obstetric care. I encourage clients to seek guidance from their GP, obstetrician, or other healthcare providers when needed.

Whether your pain is chronic, stress-related, or caused by injury or posture, each session is designed to provide supportive care, promote mobility, and help you move with greater ease.

Do you treat male clients?

My practice is dedicated to supporting women’s health and well-being. For this reason, I do not offer treatments to male clients.

However, I may consider treating a male partner or family member of an existing female client on a case-by-case basis, where there is an established professional relationship.

Thank you for your understanding and respect for the focus of my practice.
